Reception Saturday April 8th from 2:00- 6:00 with vegetarian snacks provided by Watertowns Deluxe Town Diner. Books on animals and vegetarian subjects and vegetarian cooking provided to the public at a discount by New England Mobile Book Fair of Newton.

I've always been amazed that Boston, with so many world renown health and educational institutions, including the worlds largest animal hospital a mile down the road here, (Angel Memorial) has such an astounding lack of vegetarian cafes and restaurants... says JP Art Market propietress Patti Hudson. Even Chicago which is colder and windier than Boston, (and thus one would think more inclined to that old fashion notion of hardy meal ='s meat) and for years was the historic slaughterhouse hub of the country, is teeming, comparatively speaking, with vegan and vegetarian victuallers.

My wishes for this month long art show are to inspire people to be more respectful of animal's lives, to cut down on animal consumption, to think about their own bodies and health a little more, to become more conscious eaters and also to inspire and well wish some entrepreneur in this city to open a place as great as the Chicago Diner.--and to do all this via show casing the talent of our local visual thinkers and emerging artists, and an art loan from PETA.
